Standard Delivery

Although our customers are more welcome to come to our barn and pick up hay, we know that not everyone has that ability. Our standard delivery is a value added service for our customers that are unable to come pick up their order of hay themselves.  When our customers choose our optional standard delivery service we not only bring them the hay but we will unload it, and neatly stack each and every bale wherever the customer chooses.  There are no minimum bale count for this service which means every customer, no matter the size of their order, can take advantage of our standard delivery.  Standard delivery pricing is based primarily on bale count, and breaks down the following way.

Local delivery* (within 50 miles of our barn):

• 1 - 50 bales = $110 flat fee

• 51 - 300 bales = $110 flat fee + $0.50/bale

• 301+ bales = either a full semi load or multiples of the rates above

Example: A customer orders a 150 bale load of hay and lives 34 miles from our barn.  The customer pays for the hay + delivery.  In this case

• Delivery = $110 + ($0.50 x 150 bales) = $185

Distance delivery*: (51 - 150 miles from our barn)

• $220 flat fee + $0.50/bale

*10% fuel surcharge when diesel is over $5.00/gallon and a 20% surcharge when diesel is over $5.50/gallon

Distance Plus: (Beyond 151 miles) Please call for a custom quote but generally it will be the “Distance delivery” pricing above PLUS an additional $110 for each 50 miles beyond our 150 mile radius.

- Example: A customer wants 100 bales delivered 200 miles from our barn: $220 (flat rate) + $50 (100 bales x $0.50) + $110 (for the extra 50 miles outside of our normal 150 mile radius) = $380 for delivery
